Alkohol im Kaufmannsladen - Alcohol in the toy shop

Weil ich mehrere Kaufläden der 50er und 60er Jahre in meiner Sammlung habe,

finde ich es langweilig, alle mit den gleichen Lebensmittelpackungen auszustatten.

Also haben sich manche Läden spezialisiert.

Dieser Laden wurde Anfang der 60er von Crailsheimer hergestellt.
Schöne Vitrinen zieren die Seitenteile,
es gibt eine Spiegelwand, eine Preistafel und eine Uhr.
Die Regale eignen sich gut zur Präsentation von Flaschen.
Also wurde dieser Laden eine Bar.

Im Schaufenster sieht man Kunststofffiguren aus den 50ern,
Margarinefiguren, die Männer bei sportlichen Betätigungen zeigen.
Hier sollen es Pokale darstellen.

Alles, was mit Alkohol zu tun hat, ist hier gelandet.
Viele Bierkrüge aus Bayern und alle möglichen Flaschen ...
es war mehr als ich dachte.
Die Eltern aus dieser Zeit hatten noch keine Probleme damit,
dass die Kinder auch ihre Alkoholgewohnheiten nachspielten.

As I have a few old shops in my collection,
I find it quite boring to equip each one with the same food packages.
So some shops have specialized,
e.g. this shop - made at the beginning of the 60s

 by Crailsheimer - became a bar.

All alcohol-related items of my collection 

I put into this bar or pub, beer mugs, bottles ...
 and it proved to be a lot.
That generation did not have a problem with children imitating

 the alcohol habits of their parents.

The plastic figurines in the shop window are called "margarine figurines",
because during the 50s they promoted the selling of margarine.
Here they show men performing sports activities 

and should be taken as trophies in this bar.

Hier ist eine Puppenstube endlich mal deutlich gemarkt,
sehr selten leider. Darüber hat ein Souvenir der 50er eine Heimat gefunden.
Die Glückssymbole wurden an die Gläser ihrer Besitzer gehängt,
damit man auch zu fortgeschrittener Stunde noch wusste, wem welches Glas gehört.

Alkohol gehörte in den 50ern unbedingt zur Kaufladenausstattung.
Wie sonst sollten die Kinder das Leben der Erwachsenen nachspielen?
Die Flaschen wurden mit einer Flüssigkeit verkauft, der Inhalt ist wohl verdunstet.

During the50s alcohol inevitably belonged to a shop for children to play with.
The bottles were filled with a coloured liquid, now evaporated.

Wie man sieht, war der Alkohol in der Werbung für Spielzeug sehr präsent.

 Kein Kaufladen ohne Hochprozentiges.

Oben sind Plastikweingläser ausgestellt. Unten "Gläser" aus Metall.
On the top shelf are "glasses" made of plastic and on the bottom "glasses" made of metal.

Eine alte Packung mit Miniaturflaschen aus Plastik -
wer sich mit den Flaschendesigns auskennt,
könnte sie wohl genau datieren. Ich tippe auf die 60er.

Beim googlen habe ich eine Anzeige von VAT69 in einer hellen Flasche gefunden: 1965

Manche Marken, wie Grand Marnier und Cointreau, sehen genauso aus wie 50 Jahre später.
Some labels, like Grand Marnier and Coitreau, look exactly the same as 50 years later.

Die Flaschen sind Cocktailspieß-Aufsätze.
The miniature bottles are actually the top of cocktail sticks.

Im kleinen Heft sind Cocktail-Rezepte.
The tiny booklet contains recipes for cocktails.

70er Jahre

 

Eine Cafeteria und Bar von Modella -
und obwohl die Flaschen mit Apfelsaft-Schildern beklebt sind,
sprechen die Gläser von anderen Inhalten.

the design of the glasses tell another story.

Der Barkeeper

Diese feststehende Gruppe von Puppen war wohl als Ziergegenstand in den 50ern gedacht
- es war ja bezeichnend für das Fernweh dieser Zeit, 

dass auch Souveniere von Orten aufgehängt oder hingestellt wurden,
 an denen man nie gewesen war, Exotik war halt modern,
nicht nur Italien, sondern auch Hawaii, die Karibik oder Afrika.

This fixed group of dolls from the 50s 

was probably meant as a piece for decoration.
 It is an example for the love of the exotic at that period, c

ollecting and displaying souveniers of places people often had never been to. 
Countries like Italy, Hawaii, the Caribbean or Africa were the most popular ones.
