Meine Freundin hat sogar zwei Exemplare von "Constanza",
die sich ein wenig durch Tapeten und Bodenbeläge unterscheiden.
Es macht Spaß, die unterschiedliche Wirkung zu vergleichen,
die durch andere Farben entsteht.

regarding wall papers and floor coverings.

Woher kommt wohl der Name des Puppenhauses?
Ich spekuliere mal ein wenig...
In den Fünfzigern war das Fernweh und
die Lust auf exotische romantische Orte groß.
Häuser, Autos, Haushaltsprodukte wurden auch gerne
mit Namen dieser Traumziele bezeichnet.
Besonders die Italiensehnsucht war groß,
"Wenn bei Capri die rote Sonne im Meer versinkt...".
Auch von Tahiti, Hawaii, dem Wilden Westen oder Paris
wurde geträumt.
Das war im Osten und im Westen Deutschlands so.
Für die DDR ergab sich das Problem,
dass dies alles aus politischen Gründen unerreichbare Orte im Westen waren.

und so kam es zu einem Schlagerhit im Jahr 1960
„Hafenkonzert in Constanza“.
Constanța liegt in Rumänien am Schwarzen Meer.
1960 wurde das bunte Puppenhaus mit Ferienflair entworfen -
war der Schlagerhit die Inspiration für den Namen?
